site.btaVelichie to Seek ARF's and CC's Support for No-confidence Motion against Government but Does Not Expect Anything

The Velichie parliamentary group will hold talks with the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF) and Continue the Change (CC) about supporting their motion of no confidence against the Government over its environmental policy, Velichie leader Ivelin Mihaylov told journalists here on Friday. He was responding to a question whether they would seek support from the ARF and CC. However, Mihaylov added that he does not expect anything from them because "they have dependencies."
Velichie tabled a no-confidence motion, the fourt thus far against the Zhelyazkov Cabinet, on Thursday over what they describe as the Cabinet's failure in environmental policy. The motion has the support of MPs from Vazrazhdane and Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh).
"What I have seen from the ARF is that, because somehow their immunities are maintained by GERB, and because of the guarding of immunities, they do not participate in votes of no confidence. They think that somehow they will anger [GERB leader] Boyko Borissov. I know this because I have information from third parties," said Mihaylov.
In his words, the CC have the same such dependencies. Kiril Petkov, who last week resigned as CC co-leader, has not left because of the corruption scandal, "there is something bigger that they have agreed on and what I see in the plenary is a very big communication between a large part of the MPs of CC and the MPs of GERB and BSP-United Left."
According to him, the no-confidence motion tabled by Velichie will find a great resonance in Europe and will trigger international lawsuits against Bulgaria. "I thus expect it to be successful. Inside the National Assembly I do not expect it to pass," the MP added.
Mihaylov also commented that on Friday, Velichiev were once again convinced that Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov “is somehow playing with power” because Velichie stopped the possibility for other parliamentary groups to voice their questions to Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. According to Mihaylov, at Friday's meeting of the National Assembly's presiding body, when MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski entered the room, Kostadinov suddenly humbled himself and began to speak in a different way. "I saw another kind and understanding person who complies with the ruling coalition," Mihaylov added.
