site.btaTennis Player Grigor Dimitrov Drops Out of Top 20 for First Time in Two Years


Bulgaria's highest ranked tennis played Grigor Dimitrov dropped out of ATP rankings top 20 for the first time in nearly two years, the updated rankings showed on Monday. He returned to No. 21 for the first time since July 2023.
This season the Bulgarian has withdrawn from four out of ten tournaments due to injuries. The last time he had to retire from a match because of an injury came at Roland Garros in the end of May - he has not competed since.
Bulgaria's second-highest placed male tennis player Dimitar Kuzmanov rose 28 spots up the rankings reaching No. 225. He played a Challenger final in France last week.
